This project was for a freelance client, Besser Brewing, an up-and-coming kombucha brand that fuses both microbrew and kombucha techniques. The style, patterns, and color palette were inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, and specifically Frank Lloyd Wright’s work.

At the bottom of this page, you’ll see another iteration for the concept, but the client ultimately decided to go with the kicking mule illustration. He loved the idea of playing with the phrase “Like a kick in the mouth” to reference the tart acidity of this kombucha.
